I love the saying "the earth laughs with flowers." It seems so this time of year, here in Cleveland. I saw the
first tiny Lily-of-the-Valley blooms yesterday on my walk. On the first of May, the hawaiian tradition is to give out lei's. 
They are so fragrant, and everyone you see is wearing at least a few. I love this tradition-celebrating the bounty of 
flowers, the craft and the artisans, the spirit of the islands, and the beginning of the season.
